What you'll need
Click New Email in Outlook. In the compose window, you'll see a Copilot icon in the toolbar (it may say "Draft with Copilot" or show a sparkle icon).
Click the Copilot icon and select "Draft with Copilot." A text box appears where you describe what you want the email to say.
Don't write the full email — just describe what you need to say. Bullet points or run-on notes work fine.
Example for a pace alert to the sales team:
"Email to hotel sales team. Pace for July 4th weekend is 22% behind last year and 18% behind budget. We need 45 more room nights by Friday to hit our RevPAR target. Ask them to push any corporate accounts with flexible travel dates to book this weekend. We're not discounting — ADR stays at $179 floor."
Example for a GM rate strategy update:
"Weekly rate strategy update for our general manager. This week: held rate floor at $149 midweek because pickup pace is strong (+8% vs LY). Lowered weekend rate to $139 on Saturday due to soft leisure demand and comp set discounting. STR index came in at 107 — above parity. Next week: monitoring the sales conference July 8-10, considering a $179 ceiling."

After drafting manually, click Copilot > Coaching by Copilot to get feedback:
This is especially useful for emails to ownership or asset managers where tone matters a lot.
